The political debate over stem cell research has always been complicated. Esoteric twists and turns of science, ethics, and law have conspired to make it one of the most intellectually challenging issues of our time. But with a series of rapid-fire technological advances in the field hitting the headlines over the past six months, the average voter now practically needs an advanced degree in cell biology just to keep up.

Bottom line is that the Bush continues to favor religion over science (or even politics for that matter.) And that really pisses me off.
